Lauren started dance when she was 3 and absolutely loved performing and entered competition dance soon after! Following her young years Lauren began to take dance more seriously in highschool where she danced 20 -30 hours a week between Northville Varsity Dance Team and competition dance. Beginning college Lauren participated in an African dance team called Ya'baso. This was Lauren's first experience as a professional dancer. Her senior year she decided to join University of Pittsburgh Dance Team while being the president of Ya'baso. On top of other commitments, dance stayed the main consumption of her time. Since graduation Lauren has taught cheer and dance to schools around the country ranging from 10 to 24 years old. After getting back in class Lauren gratefully made it on the Pistons Dance Team. "Truthfully my greatest experience with dance is all thanks to Katelyn. She extended me an offer to sub a PEDC one day and it has easily been the most rewarding experience and passion of mine that I will forever be grateful.
